Open up your flash and insert a new symbol. Name your new symbol with a name you can remember then copy and paste the image of the pink fairy to your left into your flash. Next add a new layer and that layer should be layer 2.
Once you have layer 2 you can trace the image and make the color different or change as you would like it to look. Then right click and insert a keyframe. Go back and delete layer 1. Now you can change your new image as you would like it to be. the more keyframes you insert the longer your animation will be. Twenty four frames is 2 seconds.
add another keyframe to change your image. When you add a keyframe you should have your
orginal image in place which you can now change. Use the select tool to move the lines after
you draw them. Another great tool is the eye dropper it will add color to your cartoon drawing.
a tip is that you need to have a border to fill in the colors and the border should not have any spaces in it.
the lines should be joined together or touching each other.
Okay next step the background trick
Draw your background on paper and color it in put lots of details in your drawing.
scan your picture in or take a picture of your drawing then put it on your computer.
you should resize it if you have a photo editor that will do that for you. Make the size
about 550 t0 420. If you do not have a photo editor or image editing software just
import it into your flash library. Once you have that background in your library make another layer
and drag you image on to that layer.
Now we are going to add our music I am using calkwalk to record my voices.
To make my music I am using fl studio or you can find lots of music artist that will allow
you to download their music and add it to you flash just go check out newgrounds audio portal.
Once you have all your sound you need to save them as a .wav in order to import
them into your flash.
Make a new symbol of somehing useful for your cartoon and add your sound on it. the sound
is tricky so be careful where you put it do not add that symbol on you cartoon twice or
you be disapointed in the results.
